I. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Access to the services provided to you here at SVUfiction.com are dependent on your acceptance of the following list of terms. Your accounted access to SVUfiction.com webpages binds you to agreement to the Terms of Service (TOS) as they apply. Failure to comply with TOS can result in removal of your stories, reviews, forum posts, and ultimately your account. The TOS may be updated occasionally when appropriate.
II. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
SVUfiction.com is foremost a semi-automated web-based archive for authors, readers, and reviewers to use for the sharing of stories and for communication amongst themselves via forums. All stated and additional features provided by SVUfiction.com will fall under the TOS unless otherwise indicated.
III. YOUR REGISTRATION OBLIGATIONS
Your creation of an account at SVUfiction.com and/or usage of SVUfiction.com services is an act of agreement to the following obligations:
a. Abstaining from excessive vulgarity, obscenity, or otherwise similar offenses;
b. Refraining from the impersonation of another person and/or the infringement of another person's rights;
c. Abiding to local, regional, and national laws and regulations as they apply to you;
d. Personally maintaining personal properties.
IV. INDEMNITY
Your creation of an account at SVUfiction.com is an act of agreement to the imdemnification of SVUfiction.com archive webmasters from legal, social, or professional ramifications and disagreements regarding your archive-hosted creative works, should they arise. SVUfiction.com is in no way responsible for or connected to the content you choose to store in the archive or the material you post in the forums, as such content is at your sole discretion of legal, social, and professional propriety. SVUfiction.com reserves the right to remove your content if it is violation of the TOS or recieves substantiated complaints from outside organizations.
V. USER CONDUCT
Your usage of a registered account at SVUfiction.com indicates your sole responsibility for all content and creative or personal expression generated from that account. Your account is a direct virtual representation of yourself. Your beliefs, opinions, rights, and works are your exclusive responsibility. In addition, you must abide by the following dictations of conduct or else be subjected to the removal of your hosted material and/or SVUfiction.com account.
You must NOT use the services provided by SVUfiction.com to:
a. Upload, post, or generally transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive to another's privacy, hateful, or sexually, racially, or ethnically objectionable;
b. Upload, post, or generally transmit content to which you have no right to do so legally and lawfully;
c. Upload, post, or generally transmit advertisements such as spam, chain letters, or other such similar solicitations;
d. Violate local, regional, or international laws as they apply;
e. Promote the violation of laws or the physical and/or emotional harm towards any individual or organization, including especially such promotion through fictitious characters and actions of your creation;
f. Stalk, bully, or harass other users.
Users under the age of thirteen (13) years old are expressly forbidden at SVUfiction.com unless registration and approval is administered by a parent or guardian.
VI. SERVICES MODIFICATIONS
You expressly understand that the services provided by SVUfiction.com may be modified, added to, or removed at any time. Archive services are not guaranteed to store and save the content you upload, post, or generally transmit. You are responsible for saving elsewhere the personal copies of your content that you wish to withstand loss and extinction.
VII. COPYRIGHTS
SVUfiction.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and strongly encourages users to also do so. If a complaint concerning copyright infringement arises, SVUfiction.com's policy is to respond seriously, swiftly, and responsibly. Please direct all concerns through our Contact Us form with a thorough description of the original work, the infringement, your contact information (including full name, address, email address, and phone number), and a written statement of your confidence in and the accuracy of your claim(s). SVUfiction.com will work promptly with you to resolve the issue.

SVUfiction.com services may include links to outside, third-party websites as provided by its users. SVUfiction.com has no control over such websites and takes no responsibility for whatever services or content they may or may not provide. Caution is encouraged in the navigation of such links.
IX. VIOLATIONS
Violations may be reported through the Contact Us form or by contacting an administrator in the forums.
